6TO FORO SOBRE RED/ODR RESOLUCION ELECTRONICA DE DISPUTAS CONCLUYE HOY EN HONG KONG!

6th UN forum on ODR concludes in Hong Kong
The 6th UN Forum on ODR concluded successfully today in Hong Kong. Video of the presentations made at the two day meeting will be posted on the Honk Kong International Arbitration Web site shortly. This was the first ODR Forum held in Asia and featured presentations by persons from China, Malaysia, India, Korea and the Phillipines, as well as Hong Kong. NCTDR faculty Leah Wing spoke about the role of technology in her murals project in Norther Ireland and Ethan Katsh discussed his views on the future of ODR.

Do you have an innovative idea about ODR? Professor Katsh announced that the best new idea concerning ODR submitted to him during 2008 would recieve a prize of 75,00 Linden dollars, the currency in the virtual world SecondLife. The current rate of exchange for Linden dollars is 1 $US = 280 Linden doallars.

The 7th UN Forum on ODR will be held in Victoria (Canada) June 18 - 19, 2008.
